The auction, scheduled for May 26,will allow banks to sell dollars to the RBI in exchange for rupees, with an agreement to reverse the transaction at a pre-determined exchange rate at a future date. Six weeks since Trump paused Operation Epic Fury for a ceasefire, talks to end the war have shown little progress so far. Trump has said this week he came close to ordering more attacks, but held off to allow more time for negotiations. Tehran, for its part, accused Trump of plotting to restart the war, and threatened to retaliate for any strikes with attacks beyond West Asia. 378 TRUMP CONFIRMS TALKSWITH IRAN IN FINALSTAGES India scales up Russian crude RBIlinesup$5-billion purchases as premiums halve Nayara Energy May,accordingtoKplerdata. “Russian oil premiums have softened amid weaker Chinese crude buying and increased availability of Russian barrels following refinery disruptions caused by Ukrainian drone strikes, whichiscurrentlyweighing on premiums,” said Nikhil Dubey,SeniorResearchAnalyst, Refining&ModelingatKpler.
